As a rural mixed animal practice, veterinarians will work with a variety of challenging cases on a variety of species. We encourage you to expand your knowledge, think “outside the box” and develop a niche within the practice. We are searching for individuals who share our common mission and core values to lead our healthcare team.
Our veterinary technicians play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients by working side by side with our veterinarians, providing direct care of our patients and communication with clients as an integral part of our veterinary healthcare team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: performing various diagnostic tests and procedures, assisting with surgeries, administering medications and treatments, monitoring anesthesia, collecting and analyzing lab samples, maintaining accurate medical records, educating clients on pet care and medication administration, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the clinic. The ideal candidate will have a degree or certification in veterinary technology, strong technical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for animal care. Previous experience as a veterinary technician is preferred.
Veterinary Assistants work closely with our veterinary team to support various aspects of patient care and clinic operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: restraining animals for examination or treatment, assisting with diagnostic procedures, administereing medications under supervision, maintaining cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment, providing assistance during surgeries, and ensuring the overall comfort and well-being of our veterinary patients. The ideal candidate will share our mission and core values, have a passion for working with animals, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous is a veterinary setting is preferred but not required.
As an animal care assistant, animal interaction will be central to your role. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the well-being and comfort of animals staying in our facility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: feeding and watering animals according to scheduled, cleaning and sanitizing housing, providing exercise and enrichment activities, monitoring the health and behavior of animals, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the facility, and assisting with bathing and grooming as needed. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred but not required.
As a veterinary receptionist and client service representative you will focus on meeting the diverse needs of our clients. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide excellent client service and assist with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the hospital. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: greeting clients and visitors, answering phone calls and scheduling appointments, check in/out clients and processing payments, maintaining client records and files, assisting with client financial applications, coordinating communication between clients and veterinary staff, providing information about clinic services, and ensuring the reception area and entrance is clean and welcoming. The ideal candidate will have strong communications and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and a genuine passion for helping both people and animals. Previous experience in customer service or a setting is preferred but not required.
